Normally, I'd be opposed to buying prepainted Warhammer figurines from Ebay, but the ungodly purple mess of my own Yriel model had me frankly embarrassed to use him of late. It's a tough call when you really pride yourself on your own craftsmanship, and I was always reluctant to ever consider using models painted by anyone other than myself.
Until I saw this...
Not just the fact that my own Yriel model is such a travesty to the hobby in all its purple display of hideousness, that it's better off as Nurgle's weird ginger cousin rather than a majestic corsair prince, when I saw this on ebay auctioned by Sniper Hit I just had to have it.
Painted and converted by Ben Burkinshaw, its striking color and masterful blending means it won't be missed on the tabletop. I for one will be proud to take him to Gaelcon in October and lead my Eldar to victory!
Anyways, I have a bus to catch and emails to get through, after watching the awesomeness that is The Valley of Gwagi - Jurassic Park meets the Wild Bunch. Need I say more?
Over and out

Nice model Iggy, I'm currently considering what conversions I want to do on Yriel besides using a Fire Dragon head on him I hadn't figured out his army yet. But the Shield all though I would opt to change the position of the arm a little and replace the spear looks pretty cool.
Since My army is a bit dragon themed m probably going to use the Dragon shield from the High Elfes Noble Kit Thanks for a great Insparation!!!
haha bens a good friend of mine , and i have to agree he did a great job on this miniature , he had his entire eldar force up for sale at one point , the guys just started a Tau army
Shame he cant play Tau...
Mwahahaha.
But yeah excellent model as usual from Ben. He is an excellent painter.
Yeah, he sure is - and the conversions are awesome too. This guy is like a God :p
He's a good friend of mine too. He has just started a Tau army, converting them to resemble Samurai. They'll be on eBay soon enough :-P
